UNSILENCED | Episode 4 – Shula
36m
Shula, the President's wife, is deeply upset by the allegations. She struggles to stand by his side when he's called over to the police station for a confrontation with Oshrat. The President shows up confident and fully prepared, which throws Oshrat completely off balance, and she storms out emotionally. After the police confrontation and despite the fact
the President came up trumps and it looks like no charges will be pressed against him, Shula confronts him. She is reminded of women who'd worked with him over the years and contacted her to tell her what's really going on at the office. She tells him about the phone
call she received from Oshrat and the messages she'd sent her. She informs the President she is leaving the Presidential Residence and heads back south, to their hometown. And that she's leaving him, for good. Despite the failed confrontation at the station, Yana keeps on trying. She notices Shula no longer escorts her husband on any official event, connects it with the fact Oshrat told her that she's told Shula everything, and her request to further investigate the case is approved. The president and Avinoam are terrified, worried Shula will expose the truth and pass Oshrat's messages to the police. Yana heads over to Shula's home,
and at first it seems like she is ready to talk. But a phone call from the President during Yana's visit convinces Shula to stay silent after all.
