It is the eve of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. In prison, Yael is assigned a new patient – Sharon Sagi, who murdered his two young children. Meanwhile at the plant nursery, Nigist prepares to bid farewell to her only son, Rafa, who is about to leave for art school in Europe. Forensic scientist Naama drops by the police station to submit lab results to detective Benny Mendelovich. She too, it seems, is on the brink of goodbye, but of an entirely different sort. Only Amnon's parents, especially his mother, Dina, find it difficult to let go of their son. Everything is about to change with the holiday coming to an end and the disappearance of Kfir, Yael’s young son, in terrible and mysterious circumstances.
