This film chronicles the events in an Israeli military training camp for boys with a criminal background. What is extraordinary about the program is that the chief officers are all women. They give orders to the recalcitrant and rebellious boys and force them to do more push-ups if they do not do as they are told. The boys are unaccustomed to following orders -- especially from young, good-looking women. It makes for comical situations, such as when a boy wearing only his underwear whines that he will not put on his uniform while being berated by his female officer. There are certainly some positive aspects to the relationship between the women and the boys. For some of the recruits, the presence of women is just what they need to open up a little more. But sexual harassment of the women also takes place. Everything seems to turn out well for the boys in the end, but it remains unclear to what extent this is due to the unusual training program.
