Lacking adequate medical resources, patients in the Palestinian territories requiring advanced treatments in Israel are faced with a rigid bureaucratic wall. Ruth Walk’s documentary examines the interdependence of the Israeli and Palestinian health services and medical systems. Testimonies of patients, law enforcers, and doctors expose the intricate network of connections, regulations, and constraints that either save or lose lives.
